SFFWorld Favorite Novel Consensus

I know everyone here has posted their top list a million times, but this time we will try to accomplish something. In order, post your top ten science fiction novels of all time. If you are posting a book that is part of a series, please note the series it is part of. I will award points to each book in your list, 10 points to your favorite, 9 points to your second favorite, 8 points to your 3rd favorite, etc.

The amount of time you put into this will be minimal, but the use of the finished list can be of awesome potential. The results could be sticked as this forum's consensus of the best books of the best genre fiction has to offer.

I hope you guys take the time to contribute, because sorting the list is going to be hella hard.:D

Well, here is the already existent Top 10 list:

I'm sorry if I don't get how yours is going to be different, but you have that as a start, as a lot of people did in fact put them in order unless they said otherwise.

I hope you guys take the time to contribute, because sorting the list is going to be hella hard

I feel your pain. :D

Someone already totted up the most recurrent book in all the top ten lists - it was Dune.

That dead horse does need to be brought out and kicked every once and again, doesn't it?

I think it might be easier for you to make a poll consisting of the books that seem to be the most favored from other threads that would take out the complication of a point system.

But my favorite series is the Pellinor series.
I also favore the Inheritance Cycle, so far.

About every two weeks.
