I read Transformation a while back and I really enjoyed it. Revelation, the second book in the series, was released a couple of weeks ago and I'm about 80 pages into it. So far it's good too.

Just come across her debut novel, Transformation, in paperback. Picked it up for something to read on the train. My initial impression is that its a great start - I can't wait to see where it's going and if it will deliver. Anyone read this one?

Lady - thanks. Nice to hear that there may be some good new blood out there - twice as much so that it might avoid the *male* hormoning pumping heroes of Goodkind, Jordan et al and actually have some depth http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

I really enjoyed Transformation, but unfortunately have to wait until pay day before I can get book 2. Is this the end, or will there be more?

Somehow I don't associate male hormone pumped heroes with Robert Jorden. Unless the female charcters are pumped with male hormones. Hmmm, come to think of it.

Cannon Fodder - my point exactly http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif Jordan doesn't seem to write very effective women - they're just guys with breasts http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif Mind you, JRRT had a habit of ignoring the fairer sex totally, so perhaps he's merely maintaining a tradition.

Yeah - watch those Jordan flames Kane. I'm a raving Wheel of Time addict. :-)

Wouldn't dream of flaming Jordan http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif I'm far too polite. Actually I don't think he's bad, just not my bag. Some of my best friends (who's opinions I generally respect http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/wink.gif ) lap up WoT - so it must have redeeming aspects ,)

I read Transformation about a month ago, and really enjoyed it. And I just received my order today which contains:
Revelation by Carol Berg
The Ill-Made Mute by Cecilia Dart-Thornton,
and Sky of Swords by Dave Duncan
Still deciding which one to read first.
