Due for publication on the 4 August in UK is the new book by Raymond E. Feist Honoured Enemy, co-writen by William Forstchen.

It appears to be set during the time of the originam Riftwar, and is Part 1 of a series called Legend of the Riftwar.

No info as regard a US release date yet, but my alter ego is on the case. http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

Well, with William Forstchen, that should be interesting. I hope that it is a battle/war type book with Forstchen on it.

I've read the majority of his books,Lost Regiment and one other trilogy (Alexander Gambit, 47 Ronin, one other), and his books tend to be very 'military' in style..

It kinda depresses me knowing that I am only excited by this book because of the co-author.. I havent liked Feist since the Riftwar saga, and the Daughter of the Empire series..:~(

As far as i know the series is called Tales of The Riftwar.

Btw, the second book will be called Murder in LaMut and will be written with Joel Rosenberg, another known author.

There will be one more book to this trilogy, and then Feist will finally continue the story of Midkemia with his next series The Conclave of Shadows, the first book in that series will be called Talon of The Silverhawk and the publishing date for it is Fall 2002, it will probably be delayed though.
There is also an Atlas of Midkemia supposed to be published somewhere before in 2001-2.

FC, I got the title Legends of the Riftwar from my book club, it also had a photograph of the cover... however I agree it may be called Tales of... in other countries...

... Joel Rosenberg is a damn fine author... can't wait http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

There have been a few comments about Feist becomming a bit stale... maybe these collaborations will breath new life into Kelewan.

Hmm,it will be "Legends of the Riftwar" in English,I saw the cover at www.crydee.com (http://www.crydee.com)
But I know that both "Murder in LaMut" and "Talon of the Silverhawk" will be released in 2002.

Though, if you're reading paperback, Magician is broken into two books.
Magician: Apprentice
Magician: Master

Over here in UK Magician is just one book, but it is a THICK book, maybe the translation thing is 'happening' here.
