Can I get by with a wishy-washy answer and say I "sort of like him"? I did love the Belgariad when I first read it, but that was 15 years ago, and I was young and unfocused. :-)How nostalgic we get about lost youth and early fantasy novels.

BTW - is Kane Belgarion? He seems to be plugging Eddings on all his posts.

I was wondering how Eddings became so popular, with the crap (IMHO) he has writen...
So, I decided to raise a poll, of sorts, and count votes.
