Although SFFWORLD.COM hosts a large number of poems, it does not provide a place for the poets to talk about their art. Seeing that this forum tends to the writers (yes, I know, of SF, horror, and fantasy), I wanted to see how many of you are involved in writing poems and would like a small place devoted to it.

p.s - I think, for the most part, that poems ("good" poems) go in and out of our daily realities and the imagined fantastical, even if the latter may not include elves or hobbits.

Perhaps a poetry sub-forum under the Writing section isn't too bad an idea. I would enjoy it, but I think we may be in the minority. It's up to the admins. Unfortunately this thread hasn't had much attention and that probably tells you something. :(
