I was surprised to see that noone has posted about this yet? Or am I being stupid?
Anyway, there is a BBC4 programme on Wednesdays at 9 (three part series, one was last night), about fantasy literature. Last night was about childhood and they spoke to Phillip Pullman, China Mieville, Guillermo Del Toro and most excitingly, Alan Garner. To name but a few! It wasn't really anything I didn't already know, but the talking heads were pretty cool. Next week will be 'The Epic Imagination (http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcfour/listings/programme.shtml?day=wednesday&filename=20080305/20080305_2100_4544_1192_60&service_id=4544)'. Well worth catching if you are in the U.K and have freeview.
