I am looking for a title that I read years ago and thought ya'll would be able to help me. I don't have too much to go on but here is what I do remember:

It started with a "T"
The dust jacket was red/orange(ish)
It was about a royal who (maybe arab or egyptian in theory) marched through the dessert and of course on this journey he found himself. I want to say he was a teenager. On this march he took his entire household with him and would erect the tents as necessary, of course. And there was a girl in the middle of it. There were assassians after him too I think.

I know it is not a lot to go on but I thout I would give it a try.

My library does not keep records of the books we patrons check out (I have since started my own) so I can not go back and find out the title.

Searched around for the things you mentioned, and thought it sounded a bit like Dragon Prince by Melanie Rawn.

Thank you for looking but the title started with a "T". I even thought it might be written by Tanith Lee and that is why the book is staying with me but I can find anything like that by the author unless I am missing something.
