Sauron, Ganon, Voldemort, Brona, Vadar, etc... Can you think of a better name for a Dark Lord?

Just call him "The Dark Lord". That way there'll be no confusion.
You know, I've always wondered what kind of parents would give their cute, wrinkly, bright eyed baby a name like "Sothis Doom". In fantasy land that's just looking for trouble.
If I lived in fantasy land and had children I'd give them names such as "Bobo Thimbletoe" or "Leigh Woodguide". A good solid start that would set 'em firmly on the path to greatness. If I was feeling especially daring, I might even call one of them "Mithandrel", but then you'd never know if the child would grow pointy ears or a long white beard. The former might be cute but the latter would seem odd if it was hanging off the chin of a young girl.

You know I have always liked the name Bob. He is someone that is always there and always reliable. To what ends who knows?") Honestly though, I have always wondered how authors come up with the names that they do. But the bad guys always do have the out there names that totally seemed to fit. Can't see Darth Vader being so scary if his name was Bob. Good thing he changed it too, I always though Anakin was a bit girly.
