We talk a lot about world-building in here. It occured to me that I like Tolkien's world building the best, because of the fantasy worlds I know of, I would prefer to make my way in Middle Earth.
So here is the question:
Which fantasy world would you prefer to wake up tomorrow in and why?

I said "fantasy world" not "fairy tale world"!
Besides a lot of people who are getting used to being very warm would suddenly freeze if that happened to me. http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

I really can't think of any fantasy worlds that I would WANT to wake up in. Most of them have very dangerous settings, and me, not being the hero, would probably be one of the innocent bystanders that gets hacked by the villian on a rampage.....
......you know, some boy on a farm who ends up having his throat slit as some example for everyone else to keep their mouths shut. That would end up being me. Because as far as I know, I have no "necessary" magic abilities that entitles me to a safe and happy ending.
I'd rather stay here and get hit by a car or die by cholesterol; something more civilized. http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

The garden of Eden. It counts as a fantasy world right? Considering it comes from a fantasy book.
