Did anyone else in the US order S.Erikson "Memories of Ice" from Amazon.com/uk and already got their copy?

I ordered mine in Nov. Then they changed the price. Then it was supposed to come out Dec 3, but they still did not ship it and have it as shipping in 2-3 days for about a week now.

What's up with this? They did not respond to my email by the way.

Hello, Dima!

Just to let you know - I ordered a copy in case the review copy didn't get here (and it hasn't!) only to find that I'm still waiting - the order from Amazon UK is 'waiting for release from the publisher', whatever that means.

Dima, Memories of Ice came out in the UK on 3rd December. I expexted them to send my order on monday so I would get it on Tuesday. They had it on 'shiiping Soon' status since, monday and have only posted it today. I went and brought it from WHSmith here in the UK yesterday, as they had quite a few copies in the store. I'l have to send the amazon one, back maybe.

Read about 180 pages so far, and I never thought the story and world could get any better. So far there have been tons of revelations, and excellent new characters, but new questions are adding to the list of unanswered. and some old questions are being answered. It's 898 pages long the book as well, more the better.

America first, but by criminals I wasnt refering to convicts. Their criminal act of not paying their taxes and shooting at all those nice friendly soldiers in red coats is what I was refering to http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/wink.gif.

I love this global stuff - books get to Australia before they travel 'up the road' here to Nottingham, UK.

Am I jealous?

Yup. http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif
