I need help, I just can not remember this author, I do remember that I loved the books, but I loaned them out.....

Anyways, there were twins, the golden twins, generally bad news, incest, plotting to rule the kingdom, the whole lot.
There was the rightful soon to be king, he had, or was a wolve of some sort.
There was a sea kingdom, this is were the king actually was, he had a powerful all evil, but he didnt know it, preistess around.
At the same time there is a girl named Dani who is on another continent, she marries a man from a savage tribe, he dies, she takes over his tribe... I could go on, it was a couple of books long, I hope someone can help, it's driving me crazy!
