I am looking for some more Adult Fantasy, I just finished all of Martin's and need more!!!
Don't get me wrong I also just finished the First book of the Bartimaeus Trilogy and really enjoyed it, but I would like to find more Adult books writen more for adults than teens.
Thanks!

The recommendations thread can give you some help if you like Martin. I always go here (http://www.sffworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=285) when I liked and author and want more of that style.
Can you be more specific as to what you are looking for when you say "adult"?

You know I guess I really don't know. I just noticed on Barns & Noble that Martin's books were listed as Adult Fantasy and Stroud's were listed as YA. So I thought I would ask. Now that you ask that question I asked myself well you liked Stroud's so does it matter how its listed?.....Ok I think I am making no sense now. I was up to late and my eyes are very heavy :)

Well, I personally have never read Martin (its on my list). If you are looking for definitively not YA then my quick list would be:
Joe Abercrombie
Brian Ruckley
Scott Lynch
Raymond Feist (one of my favs)

This should get you started. Some of these are more adult than others.
Steven Erikson - The Malazan Book of the Fallen
Scott Bakker - The Prince of Nothing
Terry Goodkind - Sword of Truth
Robert Jordan - Wheel of Time
Lynn Flewelling - All
Patrick Rothfuss - The Kingkiller Chronicle
James Herbert - The magic Cottage
Stephen R Donaldson - Thomas Covenant
Jim Butcher - Dresden Files (This is a mix of horror, SciFi and Fantasy)
Roger Zelazny - Amber

I'd say definitely Scott Bakker's Prince of Nothing series qualifies.

Seconded. You'll never find that marketed as YA, yet the books are top-notch fantasy.

Those books are on my to read list as well. I started the first but put it down (wasn't what I was in the mood for). The first part that read was pretty good though. I liked the writing style at least and do plan to go back. Aren't there like 8 books planned in that series?

Richard Morgan's The Steel Remains...a fresh release; it just doesn't get more adult & controversial than that :)

i think abercrombie is your best bet, although i haven't read steel remains or anything from prince of nothing.
