Hi..>Started this mamoth novel the other day, but, it's been a year or so since I read the first one, so, somethings are little sketchy. Couple of questions if anyone can answer them..or just give me a brief run down (Looked at Wikipedia, thanks!)..
Mars, what's so significant about that planet?
More questions as I trek through it. :)

I don't think anything was particularly important about the planet. In the first book I believe there was some data from Mars that somebody was trying to get but it wasn't really explained. Have to read the 2nd to get more info in it.

Mars has somewhat similar atmospheric conditions with Far Away.

200 pages into Judas Unchained, and I am bored. I remember breezing through Pandora's star, but, this book is a struggle. Just doesnt seem like anything is going on..
Anyone else had this prob?

Well... most people consider Judas a bit of a letdown after Pandora, I thought it did a good job of picking up where the first one left off.

That's probably my problem, I read Pandora sometime ago, so, alot of the small details are escaping me right now.. Taking me a bit longer than usual to get into it. I'll keep trekking along, and see what happens..
Though, I do want to read the Void Trilogy when it's done. :)
