Ok, so I read a book a long time ago and recently remembered it to tell a friend about it...unfortunately, I can't recall character names or the title..mostly just the ending.:confused::confused::confused::confused:
This group of people goes on a search for an unknown treasure. They go through a desert (I think) and, the main character, a young boy witnesses a girl and a boy who don't exist in a ravine. :cool:
Anyway, the ending was strange. They come to a building which seems futuristic. This alerts you to realize that they are actually living in what might be a post-apocalyptic fantasy-themed world. Within the building they find the treasure they have been seeking: suits that turn the wearer into a god/goddess. They put the suits on and become gods/goddesses and then, I believe, they start to kill one another.:mad::eek:
