SCI-FI TVs Sactuary, Season 1?

How many episodes where there of Sactuary - Season 1? imdb.com says there are 10 episodes, but the SCI-FI chanel says it's a NEW SERIES. Was it carried by another network, and SCI-FI doesn't recognize previous episodes?

I've never seen the show, but thought I would give it a try.

The show is a new series that starts tomorrow on the Sci-Fi channel in the States and TMN in Canada. The series started out as a web series. This is the first series to go from the web to TV. Looks like it can be interesting. Almost all of it is done on green screen.
