There is no release date as of yet. If you have newsreader I suggest keeping an eye on the newsgroup devoted to Jordan's work. The publishers from Tor release inforamtion there first.

rec.arts.sf.written.robert-jordan

If you do not have a newsreader then go to
http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&group=rec.arts.sf.written.robert-jordan

(if the above link does not work then go to
http://groups.google.com

and then do a search under Robert Jordan

As John said there is no official date yet but it will mostly likely be around November of this year. Thats based on the two year gap he has been maintaining for the past couple of books.

That's right, folks, another WoT short story might be coming down the pipe in Fall 2003!

Thats the only mention of 2003 on wotmania i could find. Thats refering to the next Legends book.

The guys at www.dragonmount.com (http://www.dragonmount.com) run a pretty tight ship, too. I love their character list! Especially since they don't list them all in the Glossary anymore!

Never. 30 years from now the continuation of the Wheel shows us the Aes Sedai still attempting to control Rand and his numerous gifted children from various wives. LOL!

No, I think the series is supposed to end at book 12, but of course that is subject to change if Jordan gets a wild hair and can't finish there.
