It has been so long since I have been here which further testifies as to how fast time goes!!! Anyhoo, I became a mom for the first time in late August so these days I barely have time to finish a book fast (much less eat a meal sitting down) so in light of that, which of these that I currently have will I enjoy the most:

A Darkness Forged in Fire
A Sundial in a Grave:1610
The Way of Shadows
Blood Ties

I just finished Breath and Bone (which I did not enjoy quite as much as Flesh and Spirit).

Thanks for any input
Kat

Congrats on mommyhood. Tough line of work. Of the four books listed, the only one I've read was A Darkness Forged in Fire. That book is uneven. The military aspects, written from the POV of a grunt, are the strongest. The parts that are suppposed to be epic just aren't epic and the characters are thin or uninteresting. It has potential, but book 2 needs to be much better.

Thank you...She is turning 15 months this month and it has been a life change since she is my first (I adopted her from Guatemala).

I started The Way of Shadows and so far it is good. It is moving fast and with my limited time, that is a good thing!! Thanks for the input.
