I recently picked up a book at a book store and glanced through the first few chapters, and then was called away. I do not remember the title or the author. All I remember was the heroine was captured by some traders who did not mistreat her, but wanted her for an auction between the Army's general and the Regent in a neighboring country.

I'd apprecaiate any assistance in determining the title of this book.
