Also, I like how Alison used the very latin "ae" sound a lot in her writing. I have just got into the latin langage and although we don't have it at school I got a latin dictionary and I found that many words have "ae" in them.
you´re right...there are a lot of words with "ae" in them in Latin and in Alison`s writing, but I think it´s a different kind of "ae" since t`s pronounced differently...
"ae - a long i sound, as in ice. Maerad is pronounced MY-rad"
in Latin "ae" is pronounced "ä" at least that`s what i learned ^.^
i like the pronounciation of the speech ^.^ a lot of it is similar to German ^.^
oh, and about the names :D i think i said this before, i´m obsessed with names ^^"
I love Ronja, and Ylva-li for girls and Finn and Gale for boys ^.^
