I love Ardina's name. I think like Arkan, you can get aspects of their character and nature from them.

Danyl (traditional spelling of Daniel) is hebrew. It means may God be my judge, after the Jewish prophet Daniel.
Did anyone guess my mum is a firm believer in our Lord!? :p

Jeez! These threads have been abandoned! Anywhoo, my first name (Brenna) is irish, and it means dark eyed raven maid, and somehow just about everyone finds it impossible to pronounce. I mean, how hard could it be, its just six letters long!!!
Whoa, sorry I totally vented:D

it means Olive tree (no prises for guessing that) and apparently it means a "host of elves" and has many connotations with beauty dignity and grace...:D

My actual name is Arabic and it means 'the courageous one' or something. Whatever. I don't feel courageous whenever I think about my exams in a few weeks...

But I like the names 'Ardina' it just has that elegance to it. And 'Cai'... so much better than the ordinary 'Hem'.

I think Nyanar is a cool name, to me it sounds kind of ancient.

Lol, good job on your research Ollie!:p :)
