Looking for Light and fun fantasy

I just read Resenting the Hero my Moira J. Moore - what fun:)

Lee is a Shield - tutored from childhood to be serious, hardworking and protect her bonded Source ( magic user) She's bonded to Lord Shintaro Karish - a rakish hero who stands out way too much for practical and hard-headed Lee.

I thought this was a really fun, often funny light read and I really enjoyed the interaction between the characters and romantic tension.

Can anyone suggest something similar? I really like comedy in Fantasy - have tried Terry Pratchett but he's a bit too over the top for me. Looking for something light and funny.

These two threads might point you in the right direction:
Comic Relief in fantasy. Who makes you laugh and who do you find irritating (http://www.sffworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19656)

Fantasy Novels with Humor (http://www.sffworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15981)

Peter David's Sir Apropos novels might work as might Neil Gaiman's Anansi Boys, which made me laugh out loud.

Further, I believe Anansi Boys is a semi-sequel to American Gods, which I enjoyed very much. The ideas around Gods are basically cribbed from Pratchett's Small Gods but it's done very engagingly, perhaps one plot twist too many but probably the best pagan jaunt through America you could hope for. Particularly if like me you're English and know **** all about America.

I read American Gods a few years ago and remember enjoying it -It felt almost like an alternative piece of travel literature, On the Road gone crazy. Overall I like Gainman, really loved Neverwhere. I will check out Anansi Boys.

From the thread Rob B Mentioned above, I picked up The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch. I got the ebook version so don't know, about 50 pages in, I've been laughing out loud quite a few times, he has a wicked sense of humour! I'm not predicting it will be light, however but funny it definitely is. great dialogue.
