I read a book when I was younger. I cat for my life find it again nor remember title or author.
The storyline goes something like this.
Earth are about to explore universe and have made ships that will slow down time within the ship(ie X weeks in the ship is XX months at earth). To communicate beween the ship and earth they have found relatives(main characters were twins I beleive) that have a psychic link between eachother and can communicate over long distances.
I have a vague memory that the title of the book was the nick name the ships recieved at the end of the book, when they were obsolete and were brought back by new and more faster ships long long after they started their journey.
Anyone have any ideas?
