has any1 really written a book like a fantasy version of 300 or julius caesar? like its in a fantasy world and there is no magic or anything just people

Check Out David Gemmell. His books about the Drenai and Druss the Legend in particular have a great heroic fantasy feel. Specifically, The First Chronicles of Druss the Legend, which deals at the end with a battle at Skeln Pass, clearly inspired by Thermopylae
