Heh me tinks you asked the question on the wrong forum http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/wink.gif. Most people here tend to dislike Goodkind and Jordan.A Better question might have been which one do you dislike least? http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif

Personally I like Jordan better than Goodkind with both being better than Tolkien.

Isn't it interesting how there exist only THREE fantasy authors? It never ceases to amaze me....

Llama, no where did he say there are only 3 fantasy authors. He asked a simple question about which of the 2 or 3 authors he listed you like best.

umm geez. Ok, RCypher this is the correct forum for asking that question but if you read my second sentence in my first post you will see why it might not be wise to ask it.

Although I agree w/ you that some of the people here do sound a little snobbish and sometimes a little bit rude it certainly isn't all of them. And the comment "well the books you read suck" is really not the best way to say something. And just to answer the question in the original post, I like RJ better than both of the others.

Hmmm, since I don't go to any fantasy forum except this one and fantasticmetropolis, I guess I could be accused of being snobbish though mebbe it's because I keep an open mind? http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/wink.gif

To answer your question:

1) Tolkien
2) Jordan
3) ...

Oh wait, someone drop-kicked my Goodkind book out the window... http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

*says 'beep-beep' then runs ala the Road Runner before Wil E. Coyote comes*
