To quote Shehzad:

"Oh boy."

(Wait, where's Shehzad? He does it better... http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/wink.gif)

Perhaps of interest, Robin Hobb also acknowledged that she's been asked for this anthology and was honoured to be included.

Can't wait for that one. But I'll have to, fall 2003 is a long long way of.

Pre-emptive Strike!

Qin Caldazar, let's try to keep this somewhat close to topic.

Though I understand what you say Caldazar about IMO/IMHO, it is generally taken for granted what we post here is our opinion.

Qin, I understand that's your opinion, just sometimes the way you phrase things it sounds more like absolute fact than opinion.

Thank you

Instead of actually replying to my thoughts with articulate and intelligent comments of your own, you instead simply latch onto a single thought that you feel is missing. Why bother then Caldazar?

Unless of course, Cal thinks we are the Borg and are engaging in a far-reaching assimilation process http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Okay, now that Qin has recieved an "articulate and intelligent" reply to his Jordan opinions, perhaps you guys could move anything further on this to an appropriately 'Jordan'esque topic.....and keep this one a little closer to title!

Cheers guys.

For anyone interested, GRRM has announced the title of his next short story for Legends 2. Here's a direct quote from GRRM.

If Legends II does indeed happen - that is not entirely certain as I write - I will indeed contribute a second Dunk and Egg story, "The Sworn Sword."

Since Legends II does indeed seem a reality, we can look forward to "The Sworn Sword". As "Hedge Knight" was one of the better stories in the first Legends, I think we can really be excited about this.

The funny thing about all of this, is that it seems rather obvious that you do this for attention.

Believe it or not, nothing posted here is for attention. I am on the board as I am everywhere else.

And Sam, what made you think I received an intelligent and articulate reply? JohnH, whoever he is, did anything but reply in such a manner. We're going to have to wait a bit longer for someone to actually discuss the post. Where're Llama or Shehzad when I need them?
