Fire Bringer by David Clement Davies

Has anyone read this work yet?

I saw it in the bookstore, looked interesting. But when I read the blurb on the back of the book, turns out all the characters are animals, primarily deer.(I know there is a word for when animals are given human qualities, I just can't think of it right now)
I'm not sure if I would be able to read about a book with no human/humanish characters.

I've been considering this book as well. I'll probably buy it in a while, it looks like something I would enjoy. Very pretty cover btw.

Another antromorphic story (I think that's the word you're looking for) I'd like to buy is A wolf Story by James Byron Huggings who wrote the staggering hist. fiction book " Rora"

Fire Bringer is an incredible book. I was hesitant to read it at first, but once I started it I could not put it down. The main characters being deer really help the story, not harm it. The deer have emotions, and eventualy they seem more like humans who look different, not deer. Do not be turned off a book because it is about animals, you will miss out on some amazing books.

Have you read his other one, The Sight, with the wolves?

Yes, I have read "The Sight." ALthough it was not as incredible as "Fire Bringer" I still loved it. At first I though it was just the same as "Fire Bringer," but as I got further into it, I could see the differences. "The Sight" is a bit more mature than "Fire Bringer." It also looks at the world in a different way. I highly recommend it.
