The use of the word 'Twilight' in the title is promising. Maybe the conclusion is near.

I hope not http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/smile.gif.

We have the name so next comes the cover art and then the prologue. I hope RJ makes me pay $10 to read the prologue again http://www.sffworld.com/ubb/wink.gif.

So that's around 10000 pages now... and Rand still isn't done yet... the wheels on the time go round and round, round and round, round and round...

Heck, I'll just wait to pay $32.95 US when the book publishes. Hell, the books have been getting smaller, time between them is longer but the price keeps getting jacked up.

Hey, we are all still buyin' it though, aren't we?

The title isn't cheesy...it's pretty nice but...to me, at least, an obvious indication that we've still got a way to go. Will anything HAPPEN in this book?

Sigh...

I hate it because when I started the flippin' books I was younger than Nynaeve (my alter-ego), now I'm older! Grr!

As one who's not familiar with the Wheel of Time other than the first couple of pages of EOTW this title means so little to me that I can't deduce anything from it. What I do know with certainty is that Jordan said last year at the Fantasy Fair that he will write at least three more books, possibly four or five (this includes the tenth volume, so it would be 12 minimally). I was there after all, and so were a few guys that post at www.wotmania.com. (http://www.wotmania.com.)

he will write at least three more books,

Jordan has been saying this since book 3 or 4 and here we are at book 10.

"The tales he had heard said the Darkhounds ran the night in the Wild Hunt, with the Dark One himself the hunter, they left no print on even the softest dirt, only on stone, and they would not stop until you faced and defated them or put running water between you. Crossroads were supposed to be particularly dangerous places to meet them, and the time just after sunset or just before sunrise. He had seen enough old storeies walking by now to believe that any of it could be true."

-The Fires of Heaven, Chapter 6: "Gateways"

Let the discussion begin.
