I have been looking through the site and have not come across a section dealing with amateur writing contests? Not sure if I missed it. If so I apologize. Would someone be so kind as to post a link.

If not, I am wondering whether there might be plans to add a section. As this site hosts many aspiring writers, I would assume that a section (either on the UBB or in html) on such contests would prove interesting to many.

You're quite right that there isn't such a section at the moment. I have some plans for getting an "Announcements/Events section" up and running as part of the News section though.

Don't know when I will have it ready, but it will be kind of interactive so that visitors can submit announcements of various kinds.
