Chuck is a US TV show about a normal guy, Chuck, who works as a IT tech (Nerd Herd) for a large Electronics store called the BuyMore. One day, Chuck’s ex-best friend from college send him a package that uploads the entire of the US combined intelligence database – called the intersect. The intersect makes Chuck “flash” on people, images, etc that provides him with information on whatever it is.

This of course makes him a valuable asset and he is assigned two handers Major John Casey of NSA and CIA agent Sarah Walker.

Over the next two seasons we have worldwide conspiracies, romances, plenty of action, espionage and most importantly – comedy.

Every episode has the main spy story, elements of the over all story arc and a sub comedy story featuring the Buymore staff which often reflects the main spy story. Oh and it is also chock full of pop culture and geek culture references.

The cast is great and the show is always entertaining and yet it looks like NBC are going to pull the plug after just one season. The rating have been consistent, it not amazing, but the real problem the show has is Jay Leno. His new daily NBC show is going to be taking up the shows current time slot (10pm Mondays – straight after the increasingly dire Heroes). It would be a great shame if Chuck didn’t get picked up for a 3rd season and I don’t know why more people don’t watch it.

Lots of save Chuck campaigns going on as well.
