Are there any fantasy web series out there?

Does anyone have any recommendations for fantasy web series?

Most of the web series that I am coming across are comedy, with a dash of sci fi and horror, so I wonder if it's harder for a fantasy web series to get off the ground (e.g. it takes more time to get into the story, it's harder to make each segment stand alone, and so forth). I'd love to see some examples of other people's work!

Yeah due to the length of a lot of source material and the necessity to keep web material short, I imagine it would be difficult to convert one to the other. But this is an interesting request, I'm going to snoop around the web as well and let you know if I come up with anything.

Here's what I found...not a whole lot out there but a few folks are churning out some material. I included a couple of my fave game links, too.

Some info from another forum (http://www.sf-fandom.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=28840).
Lumina (http://www.luminaseries.com/) - Chinese, I believe?
The Guild (http://www.watchtheguild.com/) - sort of fantasy, a humorous take, I think. Haven't really watched much, personally.
Fan made Star Trek (http://www.startreknewvoyages.com/)
Avalon RPG (http://www.avalon-rpg.com/intro/fantasy.html)
Alchemyst Game (http://www.alchemystgame.com)
Civony/Evony (http://www.evony.com/index.do)

I'm really enjoying the flash animated fantasy series Doraleous and Associates, it's really funny and it's available on the escapist magazine website.

Cheers,
Travis

P.S. We'll have episode 12 of Spellfury out real soon :)

Riese is pretty cool, I did like it when it was available, they used to have all their episodes on youtube but then they yanked them for a year and now there back up on syfy but I can't watch them, they're geoblocked (only available in a certain country). I've used hotspotshield before but it slows my computer down and it becomes annoying and it's technically illegal. The irony is Riese is made in Canada but you can only "legally" watch it in the states. Just like the new season of Prom Queen is made in the States but only "legally" available to watch in Canada. Geoblocking is a real problem, if it's online everyone should be able to access it.

Our fantasy web series "Spellfury" will never be geoblocked!
We're having a fundraiser for season two at (85 days left):

I love D&A! :D

There's a webcomic called Looking for Group, but I think it might be best suited for someone who's a fan of tabletop/computer gaming in fantasy settings rather than a fan of fantasy literature - Mind you, I think The Guild has an MMO theme to it.

The Guild is amazing. Started watching it on the web, then noticed it was on Netflix.ca so watched it on the big screen instead.

My wife and I both loved it.

But probably not a "fantasy" web series since it is about gamers playing a fantasy game.
