Hello, all.

I'm trying to get hold of a short story my father read in the mid-80s in a Russian publication somewhere. No clue as to the title or author. Basically, at some point in the future there's a sort of sport; the participants duel in the city park and the winner takes the loser's head and all his belongings (including the loser's collection of previously won heads). The players form a closed elite caste (each has a personal staff of doctors, coaches etc). Their social status is based on the size of their head collection. The plot of the story itself is based around this one duel, the winner of which will have the largest head collection in the world. Also, apparently the protagonist bashes his fist through the screen during a vid call from his adversary.

Sorry, I realise it's a bit of a muddled and disjointed description, but I hope it'll ring a bell for someone.
