I've just started the new book, Storm Glass, by Maria Snyder.

I loved the Study series, and am enjoying this book so far.

You can watch a trailer at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQyaIbYKT6s

Did anyone else like her last series?

Actually Sea Glass, sequel to Storm Glass is out also and I reviewed it on FBC as I did Storm Glass in the Spring; Sea Glass ends Storm Glass' threads while there will be a wait of one year for the next Glass book - Spy Glass since in the meantime Ms. Snyder will start another series too.

All 5 including Study, are very entertaining books though I thought the Glass series uniformly better.

Poison Study is very good, Magic Study good but not at that level and for reasons I outlined in my review of Storm Glass, namely that Yelena's outsider view of Sitia works only to some extent as opposed to Opal's in Glass which is very natural and it shows, and Fire Study almost there, but with one glaring flaw, how more obvious could the main villain be, almost wore a "villain hat" and our heroes, smart people otherwise could not see it, that was just "plot requirement" not natural so to speak..., while both Glass books are at the Poison Study levels
