James Robinson (...The Golden Age mini series)
That is one helluva series. Got the TPB myself, unfortunately the ending was given away prior to me reading it.

I also like Mark Waid.

Alan Moore is phenominal
Garth Ennis (Preacher)

I'd have to say Bendis currently is one of my favorite writers. I love his worko n Daredevil and Powers. Plus, Ultimate Spider-Man is a hoot!

The usual big names as well.. Gaiman, Moore, etc..

One writer that I am really enjoying of lates is Ron Marz. His current projects are Scion and The Path from CrossGen. Both are excellent titles..

:look: Pretty much what everyone has been saying .. GAIMAN Sandman is in a league of storytelling all it's own.

And I really get into Joss Whedon's Fray .. and his style of storytelling.

As for Manga .. I'd say Bebop's Hajime Yatate

And just for fun .. that chick that does Blue Monday .. can't think of her name at the moment. But that's a fun read.
