Hey Maerad :D

Hmmm My inspirations, usually when I'm bored, you see when I am bored a convasation from a book pops into my head, but I can't always remember it, so I go to the book and look for it usually ending up reading ht eentire book and its series.

But generally I have to be in the mood, I go through phases where I really Cant be Bothered and others where I cant get enough of them :DI will always read in the bath, on any form of transport aside from bikes etc and before going to sleep.

The same applys for when I write my own stories on another site which I am unable to mention but you already know about. On their. reviews motivate me.

In short I must be motivated not inspired :D

Hope it helps....why ? any reason?

what about you??

I shall stop now :D:D

Yo, FP! ;)
Thanks for sharing!

Nah, it is just my English project. We need to find (or to make) a quote that inspire people to read literature. Since I am too lazy to do it, I made a new thread about quotes. (hoping to find the right one) :D

But, unfortunately, none replied to my thread, and it is only 2 days before the DEADline. And so, I made my own quote:

"Literature whispers the words that the tongue cannot say;
Plays the the birdsong that the ears cannot apprehend;
Paints the mountains that the eyes cannot perceive;
and summons the winds that a man cannot feel."

and then there is a serene of a mountain on the background picture. :D
What do you say?
I know this is now a wasted thread, but even so, let's continue. ;) (if you still wanted)

OOO Sorry it was a little late :o

AND Holy Flaming hell that is a brilliant quote :D:D Its absolutely brilliant, did you honestly make it up??!!:eek::eek:

And its not neccessarily wasted just a thread of what inspires us. :)

Tis okay! ;)

*blushes very deep red*
Yes, I made it the day before the deadline. :D
But I do not think it is brilliant, it is just a simple quote. :o

you shouldnt be modest :) it is amazing, better than most quotes yiou see today :)

Do you mind if I put it on my profile page on Fanfiction.net?? It'd be copyrighted to you of Course, well Maerad(",) anyway since I don't know your proper name.

Did you do well on the essay?

I can't remember who said it, but we used it as the slogan of our Creative Writing Club in high school.

"Your world is what our thoughts make it."

I do not mind at all!:D But please, instead of Maerad(",), please do write Ellesta Arelei, since it is my pen name (and the name of my character in RPG too! lol. :D) But if you like Maerad(",) more, then it's okay.

Well, there is no need to write an essay, we're only instructed to make or to copy a quote, then put a background picture with it, and then laminate the picture. But I write essays, I represented our class last month in an Essay Writing Contest, though not very good.

---

You have a Creative Writing Club in your School?:eek:
aww... I wish our school have one! because I really like to join.:rolleyes:

"Your world is what our thoughts make it."

The quote is true! I agree. Who made it? a student?

Actually, before my Freshman year the high school that I went to didn't have a creative writing club. My first year there, some of my older brother's friends found a new teacher (I mean new in the fact that it was his first year teaching. He was in his mid-twenties) to sponsor the club. All the other creatively inclined teachers had been occupied with other clubs before that year.

That quote is from the second year of the club. I was pretty much the one that was responsible for coming up with a new quote for the three years I was in the club. The quote is actually a legitimate quote, being from someone that was once important in some way. I think it was a woman, but you have to keep in mind that it was...five years ago.

"Life has no smooth road for any of us; and in the bracing atmosphere of a high aim the very roughness stimulates the climber to steadier steps, till the legend, over steep ways to the stars, fulfills itself. "
