Yes...I'm about 20 years late, but i just finished Chapterhouse Dune..
I've read all the novels..all six of them...and the ending in this one
has me puzzled....does anyone get what the Two Face Dancers in the
last chapter have to do with anything else in the entire story....

Heh, I had the same thoughts when finishing it. After a little searching around the net I found a few theories and ideas that answered it enough for me. It seems there might have been more Dune stories but Frank Herbert was unsure whether he'd finish them. Here's a couple of links to information on it:

In case you weren't aware, his son Brian Herbert (along with Kevin J. Anderson) started writing new Dune books close about ten years ago.

They made a few prequel trilogies (about House Atreides, and even the ancient Butlerian Jihad) , and then they made two final Dune books that take place after Chapterhouse Dune. I believe they answer the questions you raised.

They're apparently based on notes left behind by Frank Herbert, but are also fairly controversial. I think there is some debate as to whether or not they're considered official cannon. I was especially annoyed by the fact that the notes they discovered supposedly outlined the plot for Dune 7, but rather than proceed with that, they decided to write six prequel books first.

I read the first prequel trilogy, but didn't like it very much and I gave up. Yes, Frank Herbert died before he could write the final Dune book, which is a terrible shame... but I'd rather leave it like that, then read a bunch of books that aren't nearly as well written, and are questionable in terms of authenticity.

Prelude to Dune trilogy

* Dune: House Atreides (1999)
* Dune: House Harkonnen (2000)
* Dune: House Corrino (2001)

Legends of Dune trilogy

* Dune: The Butlerian Jihad (2002)
* Dune: The Machine Crusade (2003)
* Dune: The Battle of Corrin (2004)

Dune 7

* Hunters of Dune (2006)
* Sandworms of Dune (2007)

Heroes of Dune

* Paul of Dune (2008)
* The Winds of Dune (2009)
* The Throne of Dune
* Leto of Dune

We don't know and probably never will. Herbert and Anderson came up with a bizarro theory to explain it in their fanfic, but it doesn't really make any sense given the set-up and what came before it in the series.
