It's too bad we all live in different parts of the world. I'd love to get together with all of you and have some drinks. We all have two things in common at least: writing and a love for SFF. There's a community atmosphere here and I just thought I'd tell you all that I appreciate it. I really do. I check the flashfic thread multiple times a day and it's not just to see what people have written about my piece. ;)

You have all helped me and my writing in the short months that I've participated. I now know what the things are that I have to work on because of this. (Mainly, it appears I have a problem with ambiguity.) So thank you for all your honesty.

The only person I know who lives near me is Kung Foo.

Where is everyone situated?

As it says under my name, I'm in Windsor, Ont, which is right across the border from Detroit, MI.

I might be in BA in March, Fede. Up for playing tour guide/Spanish instructor? :)

In the Sonoran desert, Huachuca Mountains on one side, Mule Mountains on the other, the San Pedro River bravely attempting to discover and carry water north.

Mebane, NC here. From a quick peek at the other flash entrants - It looks like Hugh Howey is within 3 hours of me.

Other than that, business occasionally takes me elsewhere (mostly to the Dallas, TX area)...

Like the name says, Leipzig, Germany! Heh. I'm the only poster I've noticed who lives in mainland Europe. :P

While I've been participating less lately, I'm still a big fan of the Flash Fiction competition.

I'm in Ottawa, Canada, so not too far from you Nickee. Not too close either though.

Now how am I ever going to picture you other than sitting on a mule leading another mule burdened with supplies up to your weathered wooden home where the rocker you made sits waiting on the veranda for you and that beer you've been chilling in the brook?

I live in Fredericton NB, Nickee, within which everything is five minutes from everything else, but if you want anything to exist you have to build it yourself. I've never been to Windsor, but I've worked with lots of folks from CJAM.
