Hmm....
maybe Aldous Huxley - Brave New World. That is more on Eugenics though.
maybe ...
Greg Bear - Blood Music
Paul McAuley - Fairyland
both sort of genetic manipulation overlapping with nanotechnology
But above all I would recommend the movie Gattaca

That is central to Bujold's Falling Free.
It is woven into much of the rest of the series. The Cetagandan Empire is based on it. It is a strong factor in Diplomatic Immunity and a significant background issue in Komarr.

Frameshift by Robert Sawyer has to do with DNA and genetics. It is in "to Read" pile so I can't reccomend it specifically, but I have enjoyed some of Sawyer's other works.

C.J. Cherryh's Cyteen - lots of genetic manipulation. And clones. Lots of clones. Has a sequel, Regenesis.
Richard K. Morgan's Thirteen - MC is a genetically manipulated super soldier. Well, that was the plan...

Brian Stableford (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Stableford), who has a degree plus postgraduate work in biology, writes fiction that, in recent years, has focussed heavily on genetic manipulation. If you look over a list of Stableford's works (http://greatsfandf.com/AUTHORS/BrianStableford.php), most post-Asgard works involve, to a greater or lesser extent, the possibilities and consequences of genetic tinkering.

Because I'm an idiot. I forgot to mention that Morgan's Thirteen is titled Black Man in the UK market (A FAR better title...I understand why they changed it, but...meh)

Spin State by Chris Moriarty - lots and lots of genetics here.
A clone society and much rumination on genetics/cloning etc.
Also a really great read.

And then I noticed that Thirteen/Black Man was the book you already read. I'm on a roll.
