Attention to all Stackpole fans

I have enjoyed many of Mike Stackpole's books. The problem I would like to bring to your attention is that I can't find Once a Hero anywhere. I have even searched through my local librarie's computer that catalog all books in the state. But, the name of the title doesn't even register.

Now I am not asking for some one to sell the book to me. I know that that is not appropriate for the forum. But does anyone have information for on this book? Thanks two bits and a bundle

Hi Shef!

I would recommend to visit Stackpole's homepage (http://www.stormwolf.com) . There is a section 'Hard-to-find Books' . . . do I have to say more? ;)

Wish you luck in finding the book there.

Yeah I have frequently visited his page in the past. But haven't gone there recently. I guess it slipped my mind. Oh, by the way, does anyone no when the sequel to Fortress Draconis is coming out. I know that is in the summer but not sure when exactly. Thanks a lot.

p.s. This isn't considered spamming is it. If it is I will be rather upset.

Hey Shef. I'm a huge Stackpole fan. I'm pretty sure that Once a Hero went out of print last year. I'm not sure though. I hope that helps. It is my favorite Stackpole novel.:)

If you are still looking for the book, you should check out

www.abe.com

(Advanced Book Exchange).. It's basically hundred upon hundreds of used bookstores. I did a quick search and found about 30 copies of the book floating around. Prices range from as low as $3.00 (U.S) to about $15 (U.S.).. So, it seems pretty reasonable.. Depends on how desperate you are. :)

And no, what you are doing is not considered spamming. ;)
