Can anyone please recommend, for a new comer to fantasy, a series of literature whose subject of a dungeon and dragons nature or lord of the rings, something that has a warrior and adventure feel. I am new to fantasy books and I want to start with something that really shines in this genre. I am in my early 30's so I want something on an adult level.

Any suggestions that you can provide would be appreciated. Thank you.
