View Full Version : Tap for the reference

Once upon a time, there was a story or book about a society that had wireless implants in their heads. When someone spoke on a given subject, everyone around would "tap for the reference." Kind of like a visionary version of Google, for the times. They "tapped" into the "databanks."
Does anyone remember the story/book or author's name?
Thanks,
-Moose

I would be inclined to bet this is not the one you mean but it is that kind of story.

I'm pretty sure this isn't it either, but you might like it if you're into that kind of story:
