Why? Really Fluffy Bunny, why would you like to get rid of spam. It should be limited to the general discussion forum. But, spam is what makes the world go round. Wait i=until Ogg or Qin here about this...

True, Spam is not really a good food for anybody, but it tastes so yummy!http://www.plauder-smilies.com/redbite.gif

Have you been to plauder-smilies FF? http://www.plauder-smilies.de/fart.gif I fear using the more, err, brutal ones because of the dreaded ban button. http://www.plauder-smilies.de/pcangry.gif

I am not mean http://216.40.201.38/otn/funny/bluegrab.gifam I?

I am generally in a decent mood.http://216.40.201.38/contrib/xerx/MODhappyjaz.gif

Seriously, though. This will be my last spammish post. The Fluffy one is in the right. Spamming needs to stop.

LOL!!! Flagg I love that!!!!

But I take the request by The Soft Fluffy One, as a real request. We all like to break out now and then just like a plumbers crack breaks out over the waistline of his pants. It’s good to get a little sun now and then; you know exercise the old metacarpals as you type away. But even I, a Spammer of much Renown, know that there is a threshold that should not be crossed. True I Spam away, some times in jest, some times just because I can, sometimes I shamelessly build my total (it’s a man thing), but as ridiculous as this sounds I always try to limit my Spam. I really try hard to avoid being inflammatory or over offensive that is unless I’m dealing with Cadfael, then all the rules go out the window ;) As I have stated before I avoid the serious threads where writers are really working to hone their skills or seeking important advice. This sight is becoming very distinguished for this feature alone. I applaud a writer's, both budding and experienced, diligence and foresight for using these sections of this sight as the tool that it is. Why would I endanger the sights reputation by tracking my muddy feet through those threads? I wouldn’t. As a matter of fact I would request that my brothers in arms refrain from doing the same. We have some very serious people who visit our forum, lets show them a little respect, and keep it serious for them.
Now all that said the General discussion section should be renamed, most aptly I believe, SPAM Zone ;). It’s all fair game for the most part. Again some restraint is requested even there, as in that rear instance when somebody has something serious to post or request. Of course all this can be thrown out the window after I kill off the Mods and set my New Forum Order in place.
:D :D :D

Ogg looks at that long serious post above. "Did I say all that?" Then the reality hits home. NNNNOOOOOOOOooooooooooo........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ogg then throws himself from the highest mountain, to dash his head and body on the rocky depts below.....

You can never give up spamming and you know it.

Oh yeah I agree with all of Oggs statements as well.

*picks Ogg up and dusts him down*

there there. Not all mods are completely anti-spamming, you know.

*leans in closer and whispers*

Now about this mod-killing plan of yours.........we can do some kind of a deal, right?

------------------------------------------------------------------------

in all seriousness, though - i think spam has it's place in the forum, and that it's harmless enough as long as it stays in that place. Ppl on the whole do keep their nonsense to the general discussion topics - and if anyone feels that a particular thread is straying too far off topic, they're more than welcome to point it out, and the mods can add their weight to swinging it back in line.............in return for suitable, shall we say, compensation, of course. :)

What's this I hear about the thread going Vegan? Well, it is healthier than spam, I guess. But how many of you kids are going to eat asparagus?
