My dad bought the first edition hardcover of Magician by Feist and I saw on the Internet that it was worth 200-300$. Is that true? How many books have collectionner value??

Apparently the first edition of Eye of the World is worth $600 or so. Sick I tell you, sick.

What's sick is the amount people will pay for a first edition Harry Potter book!

Eye of the world? $600? Egad! I was upset that I paid $7. I was also pissed that I had bought the next three, but I enjoyed those, so I wasn't upset afterwards.
But I did buy all the Harry Potter books in hardback, so I'm just as big of a dork as Qin.

Actually, I only own the British version of The Chamber of Secrets. The rest I've had to borrow from friends, thus, I've only paid about...$6 for one Harry Potter book.

Then you are not nearly the dork that I am! Bow down while I push my spectacles back onto the bridge of my nose and scoff and snort in feelings of superficial superiority!
Ahem.

You misquoted me there, Bond. That was Caldazar who said that.
And now for the random meaningless quote.

I liked her (Rowling's) writing style, and I enjoy literature that involves characters who're enjoyable to read, moral lessons that aren't as subtle as a jackhammer, and plots that are in constant motion. And Harry Potter is a colourful fantasy series, and one that I've enjoyed from Page 1.
