Bush/Hussien

I have just read that President Bush has made a push to get rid of Suddam Hussein. As an American, I feel that that move is a just move, if maybe not necessary. I am wondering, how do you all feel about this? Or how do you feel about American politics all together? I've never gotten an international view on the US, and I think it would be interesting to see what everyone's thoughts are. Especially if any of you are currently living in the middle east. But everyone's views are welcome. Thanks for any feedback!

And why do you think this is a wise decision on his behalf? What led you to come to this conclusion?

I have just read that President Bush has made a push to get rid of Suddam Hussein.

President Bush hasn't made that decission. The oil industry in Texas made it. If u don't know it already, President Bush is just a puppet. And the more retarded the puppet, how easier it is to pull the strings.(it's an understatement when I say that it's very easy to pull the strings)

That's just my opinion.

So what you're effectively saying is that there exists an oil trade union in Texas that's more powerful than all three branches of the US government?

I'm just saying that Bush is influenced by the people that funded his campaign. And, correct me if I'm wrong, the biggest investors in his campaign for president were oilcompanies.

I'm not talking about the three branches of US government(whatever they may be).

Why do u think that Bush allows oildrilling in Alaska and why do you think that the US didn't sign that Kyoto-thingy(can't recall what it's name was)?

That's just my opinion. If u can change my opinion with rational arguments then go ahead and try to reform me.

Some time back we decided here at SFF that political type threads would not be permitted on a site that deals primarily with SF & F etc., as they usually tend to result in personal attacks due the extent of varying opinions etc. To remain consistent, this thread will also be closed now.

I Thank you for your understanding. :)
