geez ok.

As I've said in the other thread, Book of Words is complete, Sword of Shadows isn't and won't be anytime soon. Also you will be missing out on Bolger and Grift.

hmm, so you think i should, my club has the whole 3 in paperback for 50 bucks, maybe i will get them first if you can tell me whats so appealing about them. like the basic story and such

does The Barbed Coil have anything to do with the 2 series?

No... The Barbed Coil is a stand-a-lone book... and is still JVJ's best book IMHO.

I agree with Caldazar... The Book Of Words is a complete series, and it would be a shame to miss out on Bodger and Griff. They appear in a kinda commercial break from the main plot every so often, they are two guards who have a lot of sage advice to impart... most of it absolute tripe... but very very funny.

The Sword Of Shadows is still a good read, but there are only two books available in the series at the moment, and it may be a while before book 3 is available.

Well, I've read the 1st Book of Words and found it meandering. Does it improve with the 2 other books? Should I give it a chance? I'm kinda wary even of checking out Cavern because of that...
