Really dont want a thread with people putting in their two cents that no one cares about.. Just wondering if any farland fans out here would like to discuss the Runelord series?

That's rather contradictory, don't you think?
Some fans still remain, though Farland's books haven't come up for discussion lately.
Perhaps you'll find some fellow fans in these threads:

I checked some of the older threads, but they are too old.. There are now 8 books in the Runelords series and just wants to see what everyone thinks??
I know 1-4 have their own plot as well as 5-8.... Im on 7 now and I prefer the 5-8 series... I also have gotten word that Chaosbound is Not the last book in the series.

I loved The Sum of all Men but found each subsequent book went progressively downhill. Overall I really like the series and the magic system is new and refeshing. I haven't started the 2nd series yet. My brother read em and said they're not as good as the 1st series. I definitely will read em one day, but as for now theres just way too much better stuff out there.

I really like David Farland the sci-fi writer, aka Dave Wolverton. Or should I say liked. Since he hasn't written any sci-fi that I'm aware of for 15+ years...

I've only read the first 5 books of the Runelord series. I really enjoyed the first 4. The fifth one, was, well, alright, but, it just didnt feel like a full book. Like, the ending to it (Wether it be a cliff hanger or not) was just kinda rushed.
I do plan on picking up the others one day, David Farland writing style has a nice easy style to it, which let's me burn through the books.

I was at the local Chapters last night and grabbed both book 5 and 6 in hardcover. They were in the bargain bin for $7 each. Good deal?
