Just for Qin, post comments about other people's avatars below.

I'm sure he'll love that but he doesn't really have a right to say anything, since he doesn't even have one anymore. He probably just got rid of his avatar so he could make fun of everybody else and no one could say anything to him. :D

Lord, I'm sick of that spinny doodle Erebus is using. I feel I'm getting sleepy every time I read one of his posts. Verrrry Sleeeeepyyy.

ooops...so you'd prefer I use another? I can if it's really upsetting anyone...but then, how will I keep you all under my control? ;)

Ok, I must have missed somthing somewhere but now that I know what one is (avatars) how do I get one and put it under my screen name like everyone else?
The faq thread only tells about them, not where to find them or how to get them under your name. :(

I just find cool looking pics on the net, and use paint (yes paint!) to cut out a section and resize to 65 pixels x 65 pixels and upload it in the user control panel (click user cp at the top of this page).

Alternatively u could use a custom avatar designed by other people on the site (is in one of these threads somewhere under a mountain of spam).

Okay Voider, if you have a piccie already selected (must be 65 by 65 pixels), what you have to do is this. Go into the "User CP" page and you will find a tab saying "Edit Options". At the bottom of this page you will find your avatar option.

There are 2 ways to insert an avatar.

Browse to the picture on your own computer
Type or copy the URL of the picture into the space provided [/list=a]
Hope this helps. Otherwise I'm sure one of the mods will give you a hand - Sammie is an expert at this very thing now. :D

Geez, and here I've been using the more-complicated Adobe Photoshops! :o

Anyway, my suggestion is to experiment. That's what I did in order to get the hang of it, voider. Look through PC for small pictures, get it the size of 65 x 65 pixels or 1000 bytes then have it uploaded to the site.

For example, the avatar I'm using is a flashing icon that works well as a pix. Interesting, no? :)
