Hey, I'm looking for a book/series, but I don't remember the title or the author.
What I can remember is:
-the book begins with a girl on a farm with an orchard and she and her brother are picking apples, and then that night i think she gets her first monthly cycle and she lights the house on fire....i think the skin on her hands and up to her elbows turns red. As far as I remember, she and her brother escape, but they are chased by something...i know that she can control fire. After that i think further along in the book, she ends up somewhere where there is a dragon type animal trapped in a wall underground and they do these rituals to free it or something....that is all i can remember....

I hope somebody has some idea of this book...if you can understand my ramblings :)

ah ok, i found it :) the author is James Clemens and the series is the Banned and the Banished
