Me be doing some of this tedious school work as usual, but this time I got to write about something I love, Fantasy.
I'm looking at what people see as the most important elements in fantasy literature.

Till now, the poll says that "Giving the feeling of being somewhere else." is the most popular factor. Personally I feel that the high fantasy stuff, even though thats almost all i read, is a bit far fetched.

I read Stardust by Gaiman where there is a "portal" to fairyland, a bit like Narnia. I really liked it because I would love there to be that possiblity, not just another world cut of totally from this one.
What do you guys feel? You enjoy reading about another wonderful world and then putting down the book and going off for work? :p
