Both are books by Feist, great books of Feist, with magic, action and adventures...
Which is better?

Can't say that it was better but , "A Darkness at Sethanon" had one of my favorite battles in it (Armengar) so gets my vote. Both good books much to my liking .

Arg I cant rember names!
Sethannon, because it takes place in the main lands of Feist books. And also more races stuff. Very much better.
Overall I feel that there is some of the features in Feist's series that are not explained and therefore make the stories a bit confusing a times.
Still, "The Merchant Prince" is a great book cause it not just action, but a bit of eveyday life.

I found 'Rage of a Demon King' the best.
Why? Because those demons ruled.

Feist seems to have trouble ending stories. Between these two though I'll go with Darkness at Sethanon because of Armengar and the Valheru and because it had the more satisfactory conclusion. Rage of the Demon King aside from being part of a weaker series also came off like a retread of Darkness at Sethanon. I heard Feist had intended Rage to be the conclusion but decided to add Shards of a Broken Crown because the series didn't seem complete with Midkemia in the state that it was in.

Basically sethanon was great with all the valheru and the final battle was great but i have to vote for A rage of a demon king because it brought quite a few threads from earlier books and series together , Gave a more truthful revalation on why midkemia was always in trouble, explained the cosmic stuff, and gave a conclusion to many characters lives (unfortunely).
My only beef with it was he wrote that next book which would of been decent if it wasnt the fact during the entire book you have to be thinking why doesnt pug or some other wizard blast all the bastards to smithereens.

A Darkness At Sethanon was great. A good round-off of the Riftwar Saga and opened up a greater can of worms.
However, Rage Of A Demon King shades it for me because of the invasion and the demolishen of Krondor. It was pretty sad, especially with the deaths and all.

Yeah, especially the death of James and Gamina was great.
