I just finished Lies and am in the middle of Red Seas and I'm really enjoying this series. I can't seem to find information about the release date for the next book in the series. I read somewhere that Lynch has been suffering from severe depression and anxiety issues which may be stalling his progress. Anyone have anymore information about this?

Latest news was that Gollancz confirmed the book is finished and in for editing.
Release was set for spring of 2011 and I would assume Amazon's dates for March 2011 are about accurate.

Scott has posted 3 new entries on his live journal this week, along with half a chapter of "Queen of the Iron Sands". He will post next half of the chapter in a week and that increased activity makes be believe he is back on track.

Spring 2011 is still so far away :(

Oh so he's writing? That's great; he sounded so depressed. Series aside, I hope things are going better for him.

THE FANS ARE CLAMORING: There has not been a new Lynch book since August 2007, and the fans are eager for more!

Sweet if it's true, Crippled God and the Republic of Thieves in consecutive months with White Luck Warrior possibly in that quarter as well.

The UK hardback is currently very cheap on Bookdepository for those interested:

How can book depository afford to have these insane discounts? Especially with no charge for shipping. I was looking around there a few weeks ago and they had a pre-order book at something like 65% off. Crazy.

Or it just goes to show how much markup there is.
